Plan for 500 pieces per design and colour. The confirmed quotation must reflect fabric, lining, cups, elastics, branding and packing.
State the activity and target feel. Develop and assess the complete sample on wearers rather than relying on one marketing label.
Both can be reviewed where construction allows. Confirm shape, pocket opening, retention and care in the sample.
Specify width, position, adjustment, elastic tension and any branding; test the combined fit.
Compare selected stretch knits and linings for recovery, opacity, hand feel, shade and care.
Estimate 10–15 days for sampling after a complete brief and 15–30 days for production at applicable MOQ after PP approval. Confirm by quote; freight is separate.
Send artwork and placement dimensions. Test the selected application on the final fabric and elastic.
Review finished bust, underbust, strap and cup-position measurements and fit representative smaller and larger sizes.
Send activity, support target, reference, fabric and lining, cup option, straps, underband, chart, artwork, quantities and destination.
Sports bras manufacturing in Bangladesh should be driven by wearer and activity. A studio top, a general training bra and a running style do not need exactly the same coverage or hold. Define the intended use, desired support feel, size range and how the garment will be worn. Custom sports bras need a front, back and side reference, body and lining fabrics, cup plan, strap design, underband specification and finished chart. A clear brief lets the factory develop one testable product rather than interpreting a fashion picture.
Assess a complete worn sample. Ask a wearer to reach, bend and move at the intensity expected for the style. Check whether the neckline and armholes cover appropriately, the straps stay positioned and the underband remains level. Notice pressure, chafing or unwanted movement. Fit notes should name the size and material article. A flat photograph does not show whether the whole support system works.
Keep an accepted specification by design and colour. Record pattern, graded chart, elastic, body and lining articles, cup or pad version, stitching, graphics, labels and pack. Changes to elastic tension or fabric recovery may affect fit even if the garment looks identical. A documented standard protects repeat orders and clarifies what requires a new sample.
Four-way stretch sports bras require more than a fibre percentage. Compare actual body fabric for extension, return, opacity, weight and hand feel. Test the lining with it, because two layers may behave differently from a swatch held alone. The chosen combination should be reviewed after the agreed wash and care cycle. A material that relaxes may alter both coverage and support.
Low impact sports bras may prioritise an easy fit for studio movement. Medium support sports bras and high support sports bras need design decisions matched to their stated activities, but a label alone cannot prove performance. Underband tension, coverage, straps, seams, lining and cup structure act together. Agree the intended claim and test method with the buyer before describing the finished garment.
Optional mesh or contrast panels can alter airflow and appearance, yet they also affect opacity and stitch behaviour. Check transition seams where they contact skin. The pattern should be developed for the selected knit rather than a generic reduction applied to every fabric. Review representative small and large sizes to see whether the intended support feel carries through the range.
Sports bra strap construction can use fixed, adjustable, wide or crossed arrangements depending on design. Specify width, length, back position, hardware if any and how the strap joins the body. A strap that looks secure may still twist, slip or press uncomfortably during use. Assess those details on the finished sample rather than on a drawing.
Sports bra underband fit is equally important. Compare elastic width, stretch, recovery and tension in its sewn state. The band should stay level without rolling or excessive pressure. Removable cups need a pocket opening that is practical yet retains the pad; fixed cups need consistent placement and smooth edges. Check cup symmetry and neckline coverage across sizes.
Sports bra size grading should define bust, underbust, body length, strap position and cup location, with consistent measurement points and tolerances. Fit a representative size set on relevant wearers. A proportional enlargement of one sample may not preserve support or coverage. Record any size-specific change before bulk approval.
Private label sports bras may include a small stretch transfer, jacquard underband, printed care information, woven mark or branded bag. Choose placement that does not add stiffness to a high-movement area or irritate skin. Share final vector artwork, dimensions and colours. Test the application on the selected fabric and elastic through the agreed care conditions.
Team sports bras need clear colour and size allocation. A logo positioned well on a base size may appear too near a seam in another size. Check placement at the size extremes and approve the full decorated garment. Keep the accepted graphic version with the order, including underband wording if it is woven or printed.
The GINETEX care-symbol reference explains widely used textile-care symbols. Final instructions still need to match buyer-approved testing of the body fabric, lining, cups, elastics and decoration. Agree origin, size, barcode and pack instructions before bulk. These are product details, not an afterthought at the shipping table.
Wholesale sports bras should be quoted from an exact specification. The planning MOQ is 500 pieces per design and colour, subject to a confirmed offer. Cup shape, lining, special elastic, custom dyeing or complex straps can change sourcing and feasible quantities. Bulk sports bras cannot be committed solely from a sketch. Send the complete material and size requirements so the final quotation states what is included.
A complete brief may allow sampling in 10–15 days. Production at the applicable MOQ may then take 15–30 days after pre-production sample and material approval. The final timing depends on fabric, cups, elastics, decoration, quantity and approvals. Freight and import clearance need separate allowance. If a support or fit issue sends the sample back for correction, update the schedule instead of pretending the original dates still apply.
Give the required arrival date and destination at inquiry. Work backward from transit through packing, inspection, sewing, material readiness and worn-sample approval. Record decisions on cup type, band, straps and artwork before a production slot is committed. A realistic timeline is more valuable to a launch than an unexplained fast promise.
A sports bras factory should inspect production against the accepted worn sample, pattern and approved materials. Measure bust, underbust, body length, strap length and cup positions by size. Review seam stretch, elastic tension, shade, opacity, lining smoothness and left-right symmetry. Test whether any transfer or elastic branding matches the accepted application.
Export sports bras need clear version control. Distinguish cup type, support design, colour and size on stickers and carton marks. Agree how removable pads are packed and whether folding can distort molded components. Count finished pieces by style and size against the order. A receiving warehouse should understand the assortment without opening every unit.
For repeat orders, keep the pattern, graded chart, body and lining articles, cup version, elastic and strap standards, artwork, labels and packing file. A replacement elastic or fabric can change support feel. Recheck the worn fit before calling the version unchanged. Confirm current MOQ and timing for each run; documentation makes reorders repeatable without assuming that materials never change.
